DESCRIPTIONS AND IMAGES:
As Light plays such an important role in the way we see everything especially art, it is not always possible, -although all endeavours have been made- to guarantee that when viewed via different systems, an exact colour reproduction of the art work will have been achieved. Art work and colours on screen are as close a representation as possible.
Descriptions and images are as accurate as possible but should only be used as a guide.
ORDERING/RESERVING ART WORK:
The selection of art work on display on this website are all original works by Victoria Bellas Carter. If pieces have sold, it will be stated as sold in the information pop ups in the gallery section. This web site will be kept as up to date as possible but please contact us to receive confirmation of availability before proceeding with payment. We can not guarantee availability until contact is made and you have received confirmation from us of your order.
Art work can be reserved from the current portfolio displayed on the gallery pages or created individually to suit you and your chosen design scheme. Please contact Victoria with any ideas, thoughts or questions.
Victoria Bellas Carter Cards can now be purchased online using pay pal: Major credit and debit cards accepted (You do not need to have a pay pal account). All Victoria Bellas Carter Cards are £2 each. A Standard Postage and packing charge of £4 will be applied at the checkout.
Full payment is required when placing an order. Secure payment items purchased by credit or debit card are done via the secure server and shopping basket. You can pay using the following cards VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta.
COMMISSIONS:
If you would like to commission a design for yourself or as a special gift for someone else, please contact Victoria to discuss requirements.
An original piece of art work makes a wonderful and totally unique gift for someone special on any occasion.
FRAMING AND MOUNTS:
If framed, all art work is framed in either;
solid wood frames with either a silver or gold leaf finish,
or,
a chunky european oak frame (these can be hung on a wall in the traditional fashion, however these frames are chunky enough to actually stand up alone).
Some art work is float mounted as opposed to the traditional technique. All art work is mounted using acid free tape and archival mount board - all of which cares best for original art work.
A lot of thought and consideration, as well as expert advice goes in to how the art work is framed and mounted. Ensuring the art work is enhanced and protected.
ADVICE:
The tissue paper collage technique that Victoria Bellas Carter uses ensures colours and textures created are vibrant, bright and fresh. Due to the technique unframed art work may become tacky under extreme temperatures. It is advisable not to place papers or other items directly on top of unframed art work.
Framed Art works displayed and for sale at www.victoriabellascarter.com are framed to professional standards. Framed art work is therefore enhanced and protected more so, than unframed artwork.
As with any Original Unframed Artwork on paper or canvas:
- Do not place items or papers directly on top of artwork unless wrapped in cellophane.
- Avoid hanging in direct sunlight.
PRICING:
Victoria Bellas Carter reserves the right to change, without notice, any pricing in the case of error or cost increasing.
Pricing does not include Postage and Packaging.
POSTAGE AND PACKING:
Greeting Cards: A Standard Postage and packing charge of £4 will be applied at the checkout. Cards will be packaged as soon as possible and posted using either of the following services: Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded or Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Original Artwork and prints: Postage and packaging charges are calculated on an individual basis and the cost is based upon the weight and size of the art work/prints. The cost of postage and packaging will be confirmed prior to posting.
Art work will be hand delivered where possible.
PAYMENT:
Original Artwork, Limited Edition and Open Edition Giclee prints: Please contact Victoria to discuss your chosen item/s, arrange payment and delivery. You will then receive confirmation from Victoria Bellas Carter of your order.
Once you have received confirmation of your order from Victoria Bellas Carter, full payment is required prior to posting.
Payments can be made either in cash (please do not post cash), major credit and debit card payments accepted. Cheques need to be made payable to Victoria Bellas Carter (Cheques must have cleared before art work/prints/cards can be posted).
DELIVERY:
Greeting cards: Once payment has been received, delivery will be arranged as soon as possible.
Original Artwork and Prints: Once payment has been received, delivery will be arranged as soon as possible. You will receive confirmation of postage and delivery date.
Original Art work will be hand delivered where possible.
RETURNS:
Victoria Bellas Carter hopes you will be delighted with your purchase. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, a refund or exchange less postage and packaging can be arranged. Original art work, prints and cards should be returned, as new and in original packaging within 7 days.
Should any orders be damaged, broken or incomplete on delivery please contact Victoria Bellas Carter within 48 hours.
PRIVACY POLICY AND DATA PROTECTION:
Victoria Bellas Carter is committed to protecting your privacy. All information will be collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The information given at the time of ordering will be used by Victoria Bellas Carter only and will not be distributed to any other companies or individuals.
Victoria Bellas Carter will use your information for the following purposes:
- to process your order or for the return of information requested by you.
- to keep you informed about new art work, fairs, exhibitions and offers. (If you do not wish to receive this information, please contact Victoria Bellas Carter and request that your name be removed from the mailing list).
